Today, both European X and Percussion have made Semi-Finals after two exciting performances in Prelims yesterday! European X is making history as this is the first time they have ever made Semi-Finals at WGI World Championships! Percussion placed second in their round with a score of 94.213. This afternoon, composer John Mackey will attend Winds rehearsal to help refine and polish Aurora, which features the music of his composition "Aurora Awakes." We are extremely excited to host Mackey and are grateful that he made the trip to check us out!
The Alumni of Rhythm X will meet tonight at Bargos Tap and Grill for the annual WGI Championships Week Alumni Reception. The Alumni greatly enjoy this event as an opportunity to catch up with friends and be together with the Rhythm X family again.
