WGI Winds World Championship Registration Extended

If you haven't registered your WGI Winds group for the World Championship here's good news. WGI has extended the registration period to allow for more entries! We'll be there and so should you.

From a WGI email:

Winds World Championship

In order to accommodate winds groups who are completely new to the WGI Sport of the Arts Event Registration process, we have extended the deadline for entry into Winds World Championships until Friday, February 13th at 12:00 midnight.

Also, to clarify the Winds World Championship policy: In the inaugural year of WGI Winds if there are less than 30 groups registered for World Championships, no matter what class, all groups will compete in finals on Sunday, April 12th.  We currently have 18 groups registered, and have put a cap for a maximum of 25 entries for this year.

Winds Prelims will be held on Saturday, April 11th between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.  Finals will be held on April 12th starting at 9:00 a.m. with a full retreat finale ending no later than 4:00 p.m.

If you have not obtained a username and password with WGI, you must first complete the New Member Registration form found on our website (www.wgi.org), selecting Winds, then select MANAGEMENT and then 2015 REGISTRATION.  From there you will select the New Member Form.  You will be sent a username and password providing access to the Directors Only Website.

At this point you can find the Event Registration form as well as information relating to your group and a wealth of other information by logging into the Directors Only Website.  Following is a video to help you navigate the Directors Only website.
