Rhythm X Will Be Calling Indiana Home In 2025

We are excited to announce that Rhythm X is moving our operations to Indiana! Starting in 2025, we will compete in the Indiana Percussion Association circuit and partner with Franklin Community Schools to provide a consistent home for our organization. Rhythm X members and staff will rehearse at Franklin Community facilities for the duration of the 2025 season, including hosting auditions in October.

We are thrilled to have found a high quality, consistent rehearsal site that will help set our members up for success. It’s been a joy to collaborate with Franklin Community staff and IPA to develop this partnership, and we are excited about finding ways to give back to students and the community!

Finding reliable and affordable rehearsal sites is an ongoing challenge for groups across the marching arts. Given the passion of the Indiana music community and a pre-existing relationship with Franklin Community Schools, we knew there was potential to develop a partnership that benefits Rhythm X and local students.

The administration, designers, and educational team at Rhythm X are amongst the best in the activity. Having them pair with IPA is an exciting partnership for everyone involved in our association. I’m excited for the growth both organizations will see over the coming years! This is a major win for music education in Indiana.

Franklin Community HS Percussion Director
Past IPA President

One of Rhythm X's priorities is its members' safety and well-being. With this partnership, Franklin Schools will also be providing weekend housing for our members. Having a place for our members to call home outside of rehearsal will elevate the member experience and camaraderie. Franklin Community students will benefit from access to unique learning opportunities from Rhythm X as well as receiving donations of gently used music equipment. Additionally, Rhythm X will seek opportunities to collaborate with the local community, such as hosting performances or educational clinics.

Having such a high-caliber group moving to Indiana is incredibly exciting! The ability to see them perform live on the weekends is going to be an inspiration for the students and staff of IPA ensembles. Welcome to team Indiana, Rhythm X!

Avon HS Percussion Director
Past IPA Vice President

Rhythm X extends our gratitude to the Mid-East Performance Association and the Southwestern Ohio percussion community for their years of support. We aspire to continue to provide a performing arts home to members from the Midwest and across the country. We can’t wait to see what the future holds for us and the Indy community. Stay tuned for our official season schedule where you can see X25 live!
