MEPA Centerville Recap

This past Saturday, March 1, #X14 performed in the MEPA show at Centerville High School. With the entire show on the floor, Rhythm X scored 88.05. Check out the full score recap here. Take a peek at a few seconds of the show added this weekend below:

The ensemble also debuted brand new uniforms provided by Fred J Miller, featuring the Abalone texture that coordinates with the drum finish by Pearl. The cast and staff are excited about them and so are the fans! If you love the drums as much as we do, remember to enter in the X14 Drum Raffle for the chance to call one your own!

The weather was so nice on Saturday that the ensemble was able to warm up outside! Feel free to come watch #X14 in the lot before any of our shows this season. You can even download our popular warm up Loose, which you will definitely hear in the lot!

Thanks to all our fans for the support this weekend, both at the show and on social media! Remember to tag your posts #X14 to join in the conversation!

As you read above, Michele can't wait for next weekend and neither can we! #X14 takes the floor at 7:16pm at the WGI Dayton Regional, hosted at Kettering Fairmont High School. See you there!

BOA Grand Nationals

In the 'band' world BOA Grand Nationals fit right in next to the DCI World Championships and WGI weekend in Dayton. It's yet another weekend where a city is temporarily overrun with all things band. While Rhythm X isn't officially visiting Indianapolis during this weekend, we certainly have a lot of staff, alumni, and current members working hard this weekend both teaching and performing!

We wish the best of luck to all of the amazing performers presenting their final performances this weekend. A special shout out goes to all of the programs related to us here at X. Especially Centerville, Lebanon, and Mason high schools were many X-staff teach and even one of our newest (and youngest) members will be performing!

In other news, keep a look out here at The X Blog for updates on what Rhythm X is up to this season. Maybe there will be some show announcements soon...
