fundraising Coordinator

Reports To: Executive Director

Summary:

While Rhythm X raises most of its money through member dues, fundraising allows us to provide a top notch experience for our members and staff. This position includes planning fun events to raise money, finding grants to apply for, and making sure our donors feel appreciated.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement at least three major fundraising campaigns or events annually, setting goals, creating strategies, and managing logistics.

• Develop compelling fundraising materials, including proposals, presentations, and online campaigns.

• Identify and cultivate relationships with potential donors, including individuals, corporations, and foundations.

• Manage our Alumni scholarship program, including recruiting alumni to participate, and overseeing the selection process.

• Explore creative solutions to help members raise money to pay their fees.

• Work closely with the Partnerships and Outreach Manager to find new ways to make money for Rhythm X. Works with Marketing Manager to promote campaigns.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Experience raising money, writing grants, or working with donors.

• Great at talking to people and building relationships; comfortable speaking in front of an audience.

• Knows how to use databases and fundraising tools.

• Organized and detail oriented

• Proactive and can work independently
