Special Events and Engagement Lead
The Special Events and Engagement Lead creates events and experiences that impact members, alumni, and fans! This position requires strong organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills. The Special Events and Engagement Lead will be responsible for the following duties:
Establish a parent/family booster group. Develop strategies to engage parents and encourage their involvement in fundraising, volunteerism, and other initiatives.
Coordinate with parents and volunteers to request donations for meals for show days and special events.
Work with the board of directors to establish a Rhythm X alumni association. Organize alumni events to encourage their continued involvement and support.
Manage an email list of key volunteers, alumni, and other important contacts. Regularly communicate with these individuals to provide updates, event invitations, and opportunities for engagement.
Maintain a roster of Rhythm X volunteers, coordinating their participation in various activities, such as merchandise booths and events. Provide clear instructions, schedules, and support to ensure smooth volunteer involvement.
Coordinate at least one major fundraising event with a goal of $10,000 (such as FanPledge, golf tournament, etc).
Take the lead in planning and organizing Rhythm X events, such as History Night, Banquet, eXperience days, and more. Coordinate all aspects of event logistics, such as venue selection, catering, decorations, and program schedule.
This position has a more external focus, and as such it isn’t required to attend most rehearsals. However, this position would be best for someone who can travel to Rhythm X rehearsals and shows when needed.
