Haydn Veith
Front Ensemble
Haydn Veith is a percussionist who studied under Dr. Susan Powell and Joseph Krygier at The Ohio State University, where he is finishing his degree in Music Education. His performing career has been strongly influenced by the marching arts, where he has appeared with world-class ensembles including the Crossmen Drum and Bugle Corps, River City Rhythm Drum and Bugle Corps, River City Rhythm Indoor Drumline, CAP City Indoor Percussion, the award-winning Rhythm X Indoor Drumline, and the Sanford award-winning Cavaliers.
Beyond the marching arts, Haydn has performed with Eighth Blackbird, Anders Åstrand, The Ohio State University Wind Symphony, and at the Yamaha Band Clinic in Japan. He is also a member of Axys Percussion Group, Tabula Rasa Percussion, and was the winner of The Ohio State University Concerto Competition. As an educator, he currently serves on the front ensemble staff of both the Cavaliers Drum and Bugle Corps and Rhythm X, while also teaching and writing for high school percussion programs throughout Minnesota and Ohio.
