Jared Kortz

In his marching career, Jared has had the opportunity to perform with Project Percussion (2006), Glassmen Drum & Bugle Corps (2008-2009), Matrix (2009), aging out at Phantom Regiment (2010) and Rhythm X (2010-2011).

Since aging out, Jared has given back to the community by sharing his knowledge of battery percussion and bass drum technique through several teaching roles. Organizations that Jared has contributed to include The Crossmen (2012-2013, 2015-2018), The Bluecoats (2014), Rhythm X (2012-2018), Dayton Dragons Drumline (2016-2017) Miamisburg School District (Percussion Director, 2014-2018), Lebanon High School (2015-2018), as well as being a consultant for various other programs.

Originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, now native to Reno, Nevada, Jared works as a Production Supervisor at Tesla. He also endorses Innovative Percussion as an Education Artist since 2013.
