New Staff for the 2015 Season

We're adding four amazingly talented individuals to our team today. Caleb Lamb, #249 of Dayton, Ohio joins the educational team as a cymbal and movement instructor and Jonathan Meader, #314 of Fort Wayne, Indiana will become a movement instructor and choreography consultant. 

Additionally, two of our X14 interns are joining the administrative team. Pat Fitzgerald, who was instrumental in the creation of eXtra Access, our weekly video series presented by Pearl/Adams will continue to provide his input in our media offerings as the Media Supervisor. Lastly, Maddie Wessel, our administrative intern from X14, will continue her great work as the Administrative Supervisor.

WGI Mid-South Championships Recap

This past weekend the X14 Performance Tour took the cast and staff South to the WGI Mid-South Championships at Diddle Arena in Bowling Green, Kentucky. The ensemble enjoyed a great housing site at Russell Springs County High School with extremely supportive hosts for the second year in a row!

The X Store was open for both Prelims and Finals, featuring brand new merchandise, including pink and grey logo sweatshirts, as well as Innovative Percussion Practice Pads detailed with the Rhythm X Logo (all to be in the online store this week!). Several fans stopped by to enter the X14 Drum Raffle- now with second prizes including Rhythm X drum heads signed by the X14 cast and third prizes including several pairs of IP Signature Tim Fairbanks and Tim Jackson sticks! Visit the store online to enter and get some Rhythm X gear, or stop by The X Store Booth next weekend at MEPA Championships!

With gorgeous weather and a great crowd, the cast enjoyed an awesome warm up in the lot- or "on the field" for Prelims! Rhythm X welcomes anyone to come join us in the lot at all of our shows. Follow us on Twitter for updates of where and when we will be in the lot.

WGI Dayton Regional Recap

X14 had another great weekend at the WGI Dayton Regional at Kettering Fairmont High School, competing in prelims on Saturday and finals on Sunday. Rhythm X was proud to take first place in Independent World Class at finals! Take a look at prelims scores and finals scores

The weather was finally nice enough to allow the cast to warm up in the lot! All lot warm ups are open to the public and we welcome you to come watch! Times and locations are posted on Twitter each weekend. These fans loved watching in the lot!

New at The X Store this weekend were Tim Fairbanks and Tim Jackson signature sticks by Innovative Percussion and stamped with the Rhythm X classic logo! Several fans and percussionists stopped by to try them out and take a pair home with them. These are the sticks all of the snares and quads use in the show- you should try them out too! Find them online at The X Store later this week or at The X Store booth at the WGI Mid-South Championships in two weeks.

The WGI Dayton Regional was the second weekend we ran The X Blog - Live! - featuring social media posts directly from our fans and insider updates from our rehearsals and performances. WGI Indianapolis Regional Recap

This past weekend was an exciting one for the cast, staff, and fans of Rhythm X! X14 performed at the WGI Indianapolis Regional at Franklin Central High School marking the second and third performance of it's 2014 program The Razor's Edge. The props were set, a draft of the floor our, and some awesome custom warm-up suits from our merchandise partner PepWear. We posted a score of 83.90 at the preliminary round and 82.15 at finals. Not only was this X14's first WGI performance of the season, it was also the debut of some brand new merchandise at The X Store and a beautiful new booth. If you weren’t able to make it to the show, you will be able to purchase these items online this week.
